The volume of these notifications is EXTREMELY loud. I am now using it every day and every time a Windows 10 notification shows up, both my ears bleed (not really but you get the idea). My laptop Fn+up/down arrow adjusts volume and most laptops have volume control shortcuts. You can get some keyboards that do have extra features, including mulit-media keyboards with a volume control. Standard keyboard will not have a direct volume control shortcut. I bought a laptop a long time ago but I never really used it enough to notice this. WINKEY + I opens the charms with the volume control.
